Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, cloud computing has become a cornerstone technology,
enabling organizations to enhance scalability, flexibility, and efficiency. However, the widespread
adoption of cloud services also introduces significant security challenges. This paper explores the
multifaceted landscape of cloud security, identifying key threats such as data breaches, insider
threats, and advanced persistent threats (APTs). It examines the vulnerabilities associated with
different cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (public, private, hybrid).
The study also evaluates contemporary security solutions, including encryption, identity and
access management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and zero trust architectures. By
analyzing current trends and emerging technologies, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive
understanding of the strategies necessary to mitigate cloud security risks and ensure robust
protection in the digital age.
