within the organization who have access to sensitive information and systems. This paper explores
the nature and dynamics of insider threats, identifying key risk factors, motivations, and behaviors
associated with internal security breaches. Through a comprehensive review of current literature
and case studies, the paper highlights effective strategies and technologies for detecting and
preventing insider threats. Emphasis is placed on the importance of fostering a security-aware
