Peer Review Policy for International Journal of Advanced Engineering Technologies and Innovations (IJAETI)

Purpose

The purpose of this Peer Review Policy is to outline the principles and procedures that guide the peer review process for the International Journal of Advanced Engineering Technologies and Innovations (IJAETI). Peer review is an essential component of scholarly communication, ensuring the quality, validity, and originality of published research. IJAETI is committed to upholding the highest standards of peer review to maintain the integrity and credibility of the journal.

Scope

All manuscripts submitted to IJAETI undergo a rigorous peer review process. The peer review process involves the evaluation of manuscripts by qualified experts in the relevant field of study. Reviewers are responsible for providing constructive feedback on the originality, significance, methodology, results, and overall quality of the manuscript.

Selection of Reviewers

Reviewers for IJAETI manuscripts are carefully selected based on their expertise, experience, and reputation in the relevant field of study. Reviewers are also selected to ensure that they have no conflicts of interest with the authors or the subject matter of the manuscript.

Confidentiality

The peer review process is confidential. Reviewers are not permitted to disclose the identity of the authors or the content of the manuscript to anyone other than the editors. Authors are also not permitted to disclose the identity of the reviewers.

Review Process

Each manuscript submitted to IJAETI is assigned to two reviewers. Reviewers are provided with clear guidelines and instructions for conducting their review. Reviewers are expected to provide detailed and constructive feedback on the manuscript, addressing the following criteria:

  • Originality and Significance: Does the manuscript present original and significant research findings that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field?
  • Methodology: Is the methodology sound and appropriate for the research question? Are the methods clearly described and justified?
  • Results: Are the results presented clearly and accurately? Are the results consistent with the methodology and the research question?
  • Discussion: Are the results interpreted and discussed in a meaningful way? Are the implications of the findings clearly stated?
  • Overall Quality: Is the manuscript well-written, organized, and free of grammatical errors?

Reviewers are also asked to consider whether the manuscript adheres to the journal's ethical guidelines and publication standards.

Review Decisions

Based on the reviewers' feedback, the editors make a decision on the manuscript. The decision may be to:

  • Accept: The manuscript is accepted for publication without revisions.
  • Accept with Revision: The manuscript is accepted for publication with minor revisions.
  • Reject with Revision: The manuscript is rejected, but the authors are invited to submit a revised manuscript addressing the reviewers' concerns.
  • Reject: The manuscript is rejected for publication.

If the reviewers' recommendations are conflicting, the editors may consult with additional reviewers or experts to reach a decision.

Appeal Process

Authors who disagree with the editor's decision may appeal the decision. The appeal must be submitted in writing and should clearly state the reasons for the appeal. The appeal will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, who may consult with additional reviewers or experts. The final decision on the appeal is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
