Abstract

The rapid digitization of the healthcare sector has heightened the need for robust cybersecurity measures, making Security Operations Centers (SOCs) indispensable for safeguarding sensitive patient information. This paper examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing SOC capabilities within healthcare organizations. By integrating AI technologies, SOCs can significantly improve threat detection and incident response times, thereby mitigating the risks associated with cyberattacks. Through a detailed analysis of AI-driven tools and methodologies employed in SOCs, this study highlights the effectiveness of machine learning algorithms, behavioral analytics, and automated incident response systems in identifying and neutralizing potential threats. The findings suggest that the implementation of AI not only optimizes operational efficiency but also enhances the overall security posture of healthcare institutions, ensuring the protection of critical data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
