Abstract

Addition of Artificial Intelligence in DevOps is changing the CI/CD with respect to pipelines. AI allows to automate boring, repetitive tasks, reduces manual effort, and improves CI/CD. This automation results in shorter development cycles, smaller operational costs, and faster time-to-market.Automated code review, Bug detection and security testing can be improved using AI that will increase the software quality and reduce the test time. With the AI-powered fault detection, Roadclaw provides proactive identification and resolution of issues automatically in realtime to reduce downtime and maintain system stability. Automated release management, performance-aware resource allocation and predictive scaling provides deployment efficiency. A comparative study between traditional and AI-led DevOps shows enormous gains in time-to-market, spending. This automation is driven by AI, allowing DevOps teams to focus on more strategic initiatives, such as innovation and expediting the software development process. In this paper, we investigate the impact of AI in automating CI/CD pipelines for improving the software development life cycle.
