Abstract

As urbanization accelerates, smart cities increasingly integrate Internet of Things (IoT) devices and interconnected systems to enhance efficiency and improve the quality of life for their residents. However, the growing reliance on these technologies exposes urban infrastructures to emerging cybersecurity threats. This paper explores AI-enabled cybersecurity solutions designed to safeguard smart cities from potential vulnerabilities. By leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms, anomaly detection systems, and predictive analytics, these solutions can identify, mitigate, and respond to cyber threats in real-time. The research discusses various frameworks and methodologies for implementing AI-driven security measures in smart city environments, highlighting case studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of these approaches. The findings indicate that a proactive, AI-enhanced security posture is essential for ensuring the resilience of smart city infrastructures against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
